Hi Guys, Jess and Lily here!

Wow, its been soooo long! Its just been so hectic around here and Ive really had no time for a while, but dont blame just me, what happened to the rest of the bloggers too, except good old Quina?!

Right, I thought Id update you on a few things. On Pet Society Celebs, season 1’s winner was Moxie Bell and Maya! Well done! We are now auditioning for season 2 so if you would like to audition, search Pet Society Celebs on facebook!!

Lily is still a fashionista pet, but we recently had to have a clearout because even the extra large rooms couldnt fit all her clothes in! I told her she could only keep stuff she was gonna wear so she chucked out some clothes that were years old! Anyone remember the shamrock dresses from two March’s ago?!

To be honest, and dont be angry guys, I havent really been on pet society for a while now. I obviously go on it now and again to redecorate (a lot!) and get fruit off my trees etc, but not everyday or so like I used to. I suppose I will now.

Ok, so 2010 is here now. What would you Pet Society Fans like me to blog about? I prefer fashion and stuff, but Ill do anything. Comment or email me @ jess_taylor_xx@live.co.uk

Last week, my friends and I decided to go on a camping trip and spend some quality time together. We’ve been searching a lot of places through the Web and after much talk on where to stay, we all agreed to go to Fernwoods. But who would have known that there were a lot of things that could go wrong in our little adventure?

Because we only have one car to bring (and to be honest, I wasn’t sure Paquito could even drive his father’s car, lol sorry Paquito!), we decided to meet at the local cafe at exactly 8PM to avoid traffic and because we wanted to see the stars first thing when we arrive there. Finally, our trip was finally about to start as we left the cafe and went straight to Fernwoods.

On the way to Fernwoods, we suddenly heard a huge bang and the car started to slow down. Paquito stopped the car at the side of the road and said, “Just our luck guys. One of our tires blew but don’t worry, we have a spare so this’ll just take 15 minutes.” While Paquito and Popcorn were replacing the blown tire, us girls started to notice where we stopped. It was in the middle of nowhere! We could only see large and tall trees surrounding us and worse, it seemed like we’re the only car on the road! We started to scare ourselves more when Trixy started telling us stories as how ghosts mostly appear in these types of areas and would always target groups of people. Now, I don’t know about you, but that story made my mind imagine a whole lot of things like how a headless man would suddenly jump out of one of the bushes and scare Paquito and Popcorn and get our spare tire and kidnap us and eat us alive or maybe take one of our heads and put it in his body! Well? I told you my mind was playing games! The girls started to scream when suddenly a flock of black birds started flying across the sky from the forest. Right then I regretted even having to think that camping is fun. Who thought of this anyway?

To make things even scarier, the bushes started to shake and out came a shadowy figure. The figure was slowly making its way towards the car. We couldn’t stay calm that we screamed and shouted at Paquito and Popcorn so that they could hurry up and start the car again. What seemed like years, the boys were finished replacing the tire and immediately made it inside the car, but it was already too late. The figure was already standing about 2 meters in front of our car and seemed like it was waiting for something (probably already choosing which head to take I tell ya!) Paquito got enough courage and turned the headlights really bright making the figure crouch and run to the side of the road. Thankfully, Paquito together with his driving skills (which not once have I doubted haha!), was able to speed up fast enough to escape the shadowy figure. We were all so relieved and thankful. Although we weren’t able to see what the figure was, we felt lucky. But as usual, Trixy was there to ruin the mood and play with our minds saying, “It’s just the beginning guys… just the beginning…” TO BE CONTINUED NEXT WEEK

Every year, we feel especially happy during this season. A season of giving, love, and happiness that we share with people we love or to people we just met on the streets. But even though we feel excited while counting down until the 25th, we can’t help but feel frustrated or frantic about buying gifts.

And I do know you’d agree that buying gifts for people we love this Christmas is very difficult. We all do want to give gifts especially for that person, but thinking about what the person wants or needs is so hard. So here are my tips for you when buying or thinking about what to give this season of Christmas:

1. Always remember, if you do not want to fight over things, rush through shops packed with people, shop way before December. I know holiday sales are held during the first few weeks of December, but if you’re that type of person that doesn’t enjoy shopping when there are lots of people, try shopping during the last week of November.

2. It’s the thought that counts. I know this is so cliche, but there are people who appreciate simple gifts. But to add to that, sometimes I leave short messages, like “I heard you lost your scarf, this will help warm you during cold seasons ;)” or sometimes “I had to fight over this bag, so you better enjoy this, jk :P” (LOL, just for fun). It makes people feel that their presents were really thought of no matter how simple the gift is, making the gift extra special.

3. Think about practicality. Sometimes when we really don’t know what to give, we buy socks, handkerchiefs, chocolates, books and the list goes on. I know we’re all guilty of this, admit it!  But I’m not really against this, since to me, as long as the person can use it in the future, it’s better to give them rather than spend so much money on an expensive coat too big or a figurine that’ll only collect dust. I think practicality goes along way.

4. Cash or gift certificates. If you don’t have time to pick out things or if you’re still unsure of what to give, try to give them cash or gift certificates. It’s good since you’re giving them the choice to pick out what they want or save them for later

5. Now, I might get negative comments on this last one: recycle gifts. I know it may sound mean, but like what I said in #3, I’d rather give it to somebody I know could use this than just let it sit in my closet. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the gift given to me, but I feel more guilty not using the gift. What do you think? Would you recycle? Comment if you like

As we all know, Halloween is just around the corner and I want to invite you to our Halloween party If you remember Trixy’s grand party, everyone went in their most fashionable dresses and I hope that when you come to mine, you’ll be in all different kinds of costumes: Egyptian queen, Mummy, Vampire, Cheerleader, it’s all your choice. Remember, the more outrageous your costume is the better!

Ok, to start off, I just wanna clear this up, Pet Society Celebs is not copied off Pet Society’s Next Top Model. I totally had no idea about PSNTM when I created it, and the idea came to me out of the blue quite a while ago, I just never got round to making it. So stop the hater comments people! I will just delete them…

Now, on a good note, PSCelebs has now officially started! I wanna pick 10 entries to start off with, and I already have one. I might allow more, depending on how many enter and the 10 entries will be picked at random. To enter, write on the Pet Society Celebs facebook wall with your pets name and a picture for the album.

Some of you may have heard of Pet Society’s Next Top Model (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30311582&id=1221582815&saved#/PSNTM?ref=nf) as Moon Pie got to the finals in Cycle 2. Now it’s Cycle 3, and Star told me that she’d like to be a model! So I sent PSNTM an email with her pic, my name, Star’s name and where I’m from… hopefully Star’ll be picked to go through to the next stage!

That’s where you come in. If Star (hopefully) gets to the next stage I’m counting on you all to vote for her! To be able to vote you need to become a fan of PSNTM and then ‘Like’ Star’s pic!

Hey everyone,

I would like to start by finally announcing: LILY IS HOME!

And all thanks to Jacob and his pet Moojeegeh. I got an email from them on Sunday, with the correct answer: “Lily is behind the pond”. So me and Lily’s friend Ringo raced straight there, to find Lily abandoned. The kidnapper had obviously heard us coming and left. So now Lily is safe she is staying at Ringo’s until she thinks its safe, and Jacob wins 3 GMB. Please email me Jacob with an email I can use to add you on facebook to give you the prizes!

So now Lily is found, Meyggan and Jacob’s prizes can be given out, and it leads me on to the next thing.

I was on my sisters account the other day, looking after her pet, Pop. She logged on for me and I went to click on the bookmark when I saw she hadnt bookmarked it. So I searched for it in the search bar and it came up with lots of fan pages with people comparing pets and furniture. Then I thought: someone should hold a competition which includes lots of different sections, and whoever survives the longest wins… A bit like “Im a Celebrity…” Yeah, you get the message.

Then guess what I did? Yeah, I created one. Its a fan page called Pet Society Celebs and Ive only just started it so there’s not anything on it yet, but Im gonna be asking people to enter their pet and every few weeks there will be another challenge, eg. create the best outfit, create a room using just 7 pieces of furniture. Then the fans will vote, someone will leave, and it will carry on.

Please become a fan or enter your pet, and you never know, you could become the next “Pet Society Celeb!”

Hello! My name is Ivy and I am the host of Pet Society’s Next Top Model. A new fan made game on Facebook where we look for the fiercest pets on Facebook. Every week our models compete in a photo-shoot challenge then, fellow PSNTM fans vote on who took the best picture using Facebook “likes”. The picture with the most “likes” becomes “Coverpet of the Week” and the pet with the least, is eliminated from the competition.  In the end, only one can win the title and the grand prize.

Top Model has just completed its second cycle and we now have over 8,000 fans on Facebook. Also, Fun Fact! Moon Pie was a finalist in Cycle 1 and finished in fourth place.
